Resolutions
I chose a Yahoo! avatar that depicts me as sporty and active, poised gracefully on inline skates, amidst the palm tree lined streets of Beverly Hills. It's kind of like reverse psychology.... see myself as sporty, be sporty... Once I master that, I'll move on to the next part.... see myself in Beverly Hills, be in Beverly Hills... but I daydream...
As January comes to a close, it's about time I dust off my list of New Year's Resolutions, before winter is over.
1. Kick the soda habit. (As I savor this seemingly 'last' 32oz Pepsi, I weep.)
2. Go to the gym regularly.
3. Eat better stuff.
I'll let you know how it's going, sounds about as fun as childbirth if you ask me.

What's for dinner?
Ah, the age-old dilemma- what's for dinner? After eating at the Texas Roadhouse (for the first time, I might add) on Thursday, I have begun to crave rich, hearty foods, covered with cream gravy and cheese. So much for Hamburger Helper tonight, like I had planned.... it's just not going to cut it.
Once I find a delicious recipe to attempt tonight, I'll post...

Start of a New Week
Another Monday looms menacing ahead of us. I keep wondering how to make this week more productive than last, difficult given that the tasks often far outweigh the energy. I'm going to start by going to the gym, first thing, which should prevent me from procrastinating, and should ensure that I skip the Baileys in my coffee after I drop the kids at school.
Being a stay-at-home mom/aspiring writer sounds so much less time consuming that it is actually tuning out to be, and the pay sucks. The benefits overall however are astounding, and include several hours in a row of straight solitude per day, during which I am under no obligation to speak to anyone. The silence alone is worth the cut in pay.
